JOHNSTOWN, Pa., Jan. 14 - Kevin Gleason has been named to's list of the top 30 international touring car drivers of 2015.

The 28-year-old driver from Johnstown, Pa. is the only American to be included on this prestigious list. is one of the oldest and largest news resources on touring car racing in the world. The original Web site was founded in 1995. In the last 20 years it has grown to a staff of 11 plus a large number of contributors around the world.

The staff looked at the performances of the top touring car drivers in a wide variety of series, including V8 Supercars, the FIA World Touring Car Championship, the MSA British Touring Car Championship, the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters series, the TCR International Series and the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship.

Gleason finished fifth in his rookie season in the TCR International Series driving for WestCoast Racing. He had two victories, which occurred in May at Salzburgring, Austria and in September at the Marina Bay street circuit in Singapore.

Here is what said about Gleason's 2015 season: "The American rookie was a surprise in many aspects. Four podiums, including two wins, and a remarkable performance in Macau in qualifying surely caught the eye of the paddock. His struggles getting off the grid played a major role in his season. Some outstanding performances, such as his two pole positions in Sepang and Salzburgring, defined very clearly the speed of the American."

Gleason hopes to announce plans to return to the TCR International series, which supports Formula 1 events, in 2016.
